Many illness' may not arise in the first place if we are eating the right diet. We all know prevention is better than cure and that we are what we eat. Having therapy but not doing anything about our nutrition is only going to have limited success. Nutrition is something we should all be taught at school because it so fundamental to our well being. Here are some basic facts:

1) Have a balanced diet with adequate amounts of quality protein, carbohydrate, fat, fruit and vegetables

2) Drink 6 - 8 glasses of clean filtered water daily

3) Ensure you get adequate vitamins and minerals from your diet and or from a supplement

4) Make sure you get the right balance of essential fatty acids (omega 3 & omega 6)

5) You may want to eat foods that are good for your blood type and avoid those that are not suitable. See 'Eat the Right Diet' by Dr. Peter D'adamo.
